There are many ways to support Cyber Kindness, and every one of them helps move the industry towards something better.
Whatever your role and whatever your reach, there is a way to take part. Some of it takes seconds. Some of it is a longer commitment. All of it adds up.
Take the Pledge
The simplest place to start is the pledge. It is a short public commitment to a kinder, safer and more respectful industry, and it is open to individuals and organisations alike. Adding your name says clearly that you do not accept bullying, harassment or exclusion as the price of working in cyber security.
Share the Message
Talk about it. Share the campaign with your network, repost what resonates with you and bring the idea into conversations at work and online. A lot of harmful behaviour continues simply because it goes unchallenged. Saying out loud that kindness matters helps make it the norm.
Become an Ambassador
If you want to do more, become an ambassador. Ambassadors carry the campaign into their own corners of the industry, encourage others to take the pledge and model respectful conduct in public. You do not need a big platform. You need a willingness to lead by example.
Bring It Into Your Organisation, Event or Classroom
Leaders, event organisers and educators have real influence over the culture around them. Employers can adopt the campaign internally and build psychological safety into how their teams work. Event organisers can display the pledge and brief their speakers. Educators can introduce the pledge and the three pillars to the people about to enter the profession. We have free resources to make all of this straightforward.
Share Your Story
Real experiences change minds. If you have a story about bullying, exclusion or recovery in cyber security, you can share it with us, anonymously if you prefer. Your words may be the thing that helps someone else feel less alone, or helps a leader see what needs to change.
Partner With Us
If your organisation wants to show visible leadership on professional conduct and psychological safety, you can partner with Cyber Kindness. Partners help the campaign reach further and send a clear signal to their teams and their wider industry about the standards they hold.
