Conferences, meetups, forums, Discord servers and online communities can take the Cyber Kindness Pledge on behalf of the space they run. Pledging means committing to the three principles of Challenge Ideas, Respect People and Raise Standards in how questions are asked from the floor, how moderation is handled and how newcomers are received, and backing that up with a code of conduct that is enforced rather than published and forgotten. A community is defined by what it tolerates.
Once your pledge is confirmed, your event or community’s name will appear on our Supporters Wall, and you will receive a Cyber Kindness supporter badge to use across your own channels along with a certificate confirming that you have taken the pledge.
