Cyber Kindness
Cyber Kindness is a global campaign to tackle bullying, abuse, harassment, gatekeeping and toxic behaviour in cyber security. We exist to raise professional standards, promote psychological safety and help build a more respectful, inclusive and resilient industry. You can keep your intro video in this section.
Our Mission
To tackle bullying, harassment, abuse and gatekeeping in cyber security, and to make kindness, respect, accountability and psychological safety recognised professional standards across the industry.
Our Vision
A global cyber security industry where people can challenge ideas, contribute, learn and lead without fear, and where kindness is understood as part of what keeps both systems and people secure.

About the AI and Cyber Security Association (AICSA)
Cyber Kindness was founded on a simple but urgent belief. We cannot build a safer digital world if the people doing that work are being harmed, silenced or pushed out by toxic behaviour. The industry is built on trust, yet too many talented people experience bullying, exclusion and abuse that is brushed aside as banter or rigorous debate.
The campaign treats kindness as a professional standard rather than an optional extra. That means challenging poor behaviour as clearly as we challenge poor security practice, and creating spaces where people can ask questions, learn, disagree and grow without being humiliated or attacked. Cyber Kindness brings together individuals, employers, security leaders, event organisers, communities and educators behind one shared message. Kindness is a security control.
What Cyber Kindness Stands For
- Treating every person with respect and dignity, whatever their role, background or route into the industry.
- Owning our behaviour, learning from mistakes and challenging harm when we see it.
- Making room for lived experience, neurodiversity and difference, because they make the profession stronger.
- Speaking up safely, even when silence would be the easier option.
From individuals to global organisations, the response to toxic culture has to be shared. Cyber Kindness aims to make respectful, accountable and psychologically safe conduct the norm rather than the exception.
Our Objectives
We are working towards a kinder, safer and more professional industry through a focused set of objectives.
