For Individuals
You do not need a title or a platform to make cyber security kinder. The way you show up in meetings, online and in your team sets the tone for everyone around you.
Ways You Can Help Us
As an individual, you can help Cyber Kindness in a number of different ways.
Take The Pledge
Add your name (publically or anonymously) and share it across your networks.
Challenge With Care
Challenge ideas without attacking the people behind them.
Support Someone
Back a person who is new, returning or finding their voice.
Speak Up Safely
Say something when you see bullying, abuse or exclusion.
Respectful language matters
Notice how your words land in person and online.
Model Kindness
Set the standard you want others to follow, whatever your role.
display the pledge proudly
Display your website badge and banners on your website and email signature (graphics will be provided).
Anyone can take the Cyber Kindness Pledge, whatever your role or level. Pledging means committing to the three principles of Challenge Ideas, Respect People and Raise Standards in how you work with the people around you, holding the line on rigour while treating the person on the other side of the conversation with decency. If you would like to, your name will appear on our Individuals Supporters Wall, and if you would rather sign quietly you can remain anonymous, which counts every bit as much.
Either way, you will receive a Cyber Kindness supporter badge to use across your own channels along with a certificate confirming that you have taken the pledge.
