For Organisations
Kindness is part of the environment that lets people perform well. People who feel safe raise concerns early, admit mistakes and challenge assumptions. That is good for your culture and good for your security.
Ways You Can Help Us
As an organisation, you can help Cyber Kindness in a number of different ways.
Take The Pledge
Invite your team members (publically or anonymously) to take the Cyber Kindness Pledge and lead from the front.
Weave It In
Include Cyber Kindness in your security awareness and culture activity.
Check Your Routes
Review how people report bullying, harassment and abuse.
Lead With Psychological Safety
Build respect and psychological safety into leadership expectations.
Train Your Managers
Help your managers understand what psychological safety looks like in practice.
Measure and Act
Listen to your people and act on what the culture is telling you.
Make It Official
Include the pledge in your anti-harassment and anti-bullying policies.
Display the pledge proudly
Display your website badge and banners on your website and email signature (graphics will be provided).
Organisations can take the Cyber Kindness Pledge on behalf of their whole team. Pledging means committing to the three principles of Challenge Ideas, Respect People and Raise Standards in how your people work, hire, review and speak to one another, and embedding that commitment in your anti-harassment and anti-bullying policies rather than leaving it as a statement of intent. It is a public signal that you expect high standards and decent treatment to sit alongside each other.
Once your pledge is confirmed and as a thank you, your organisation’s name will appear on our Organisations Supporters Wall, and you will receive a Cyber Kindness supporter badge to use across your own channels along with a certificate confirming that your organisation has taken the pledge.
